Osasuna Calls 22 Players for Season Finale Against Getafe
The median attendance this season at El Sadar is 20,377.
El Sadar Stadium, as of Monday, has set its highest attendance mark since its renovation. In the first 10 LaLiga games this season, the stadium has hosted 203,778 fans, averaging 20,377 per match—a record for the venue since its reform. The Rojillos' home has already welcomed Athletic Club, Real Sociedad and Deportivo Alavés, with marquee clubs such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid still to visit Osasuna this season.
In the first 10 games of the 2022-23 season, El Sadar drew a total of 194,660 fans. The following year, attendance rose to 202,332 for the opening 10 games. In the 2024-25 season, 202,254 fans attended the first 10 home matches.
The last comparable season before the renovation was 2016-17, as the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns were affected by COVID-19 restrictions. After 10 home matches in 2016-17, 153,140 people attended games at El Sadar. The renovation has since increased attendance by about 5,000 fans per match.
So far this season, seven of the first 10 matches have drawn more than 20,000 fans. The game against Athletic Club had the highest attendance, with 22,010 fans. Matches against Real Sociedad (21,337) and the home opener against Valencia (21,226) ranked second and third, respectively. Games against Real Oviedo (20,651), Rayo Vallecano (20,511), Deportivo Alavés (20,408) and Celta (20,065) also drew crowds of more than 20,000.
The least attended matches were against Getafe (19,895), Elche (19,475) and Levante (18,160).
Transfer passes
A key factor in rising attendance has been members transferring their seats for each match, allowing El Sadar to optimize its capacity. However, the club notes there is still room for improvement, as some season ticket holders neither transfer nor sell their seats back to the club for resale. This limits the potential for even higher attendance figures. For example, in four of the first 10 home games this season, fewer than 100 seats were available for transfer, many of them released only hours before kickoff, making those tickets difficult to sell.
Last season, the club sold 10,514 tickets via transfer pass, giving members a total of 230,000 euros in renewal discounts. The club also profited, as transfer passes generate a 50-50 split between the club and the member transferring their seat.
Sympathizer record
As the club grows each season, interest in membership has risen, with nearly 5,200 people renewing or registering as 'Soy Rojill@' sympathizers as the registration period nears its end. Many are hoping for an expansion of El Sadar, a project the club continues to pursue. In recent days, the evacuation study carried out by the club has undergone independent certification, and in the coming days it will be officially filed with the Government of Navarra.
